First of all my most sincere apologies. I meant to post this earlier in the month but it just flew past me without me realizing it. Seriously, September where did you go?!

I sadly don't have enough time to keep up with the community. & I still owe you guys polls & banners not to even mention the fact that August round didn't end and September never started so...

Here is me saying, I cannot do it right now and I don't know when I will have enough time to do so. So if anyone wants to take over, I'll gladly give the reigns, I can remain as mod if you want me to help you out and I'm always a PM (and a bit of log behind) away to answer any questions (be it comm related or not). I'll suggest from the offset that it might be wiser to get more than one mod so you can take turns or divide the work.

Otherwise I really cannot convey how sorry I am that I haven't done the polls yet (as soon as I do have time I'll give the code to someone with a paid account [mine ran out some time ago - or my icon-options tell me] so they can post it) and get my hands on a program to make those banners of the Sherlock round.

/mod fail.

& even with all this failing lately I just wanted to say thank you guys, you're one hell of a great bunch of people... even if we didn't cross words, your participation (be it icons, voting in polls or just being part of the community) meant a lot.

→ Icons can be posted here or linked to at a journal/community of your choice, your post will have to remain public until the round ends.
→ Post 3 teaser icons before the cut or link.
→ The icons must fit your claim.
→ The tagging system? Please use → round: 17, entries: round 17, participant: yourusername, claim: yourclaim, if you don't tag I will do so myself.
→ Please, do try to comment on your fellow icon makers' posts! You missed who posted and who didn't post? You're not feeling up to going back over X number of entries to find that submission? Go to the signed up list, where you will find the completed sets with links to their individual entries in the commmunity.
→ If you need examples or something isn't clear enough ask in the comments, I prefer not to give visual examples so as not to limit your imaginations.
→ Do make sure the entry subject says "Round 17: NameOfYourClaim"

→ This round ends on the 21st (last day to submit your entries).

→ This round goes from the 11th to the 31st. The Next Round's signing up post will go up during the last week of the month and on the 1st of August we shall start that round so voting round 16 and posting of sets in round 17 will go hand in hand.
→ Special thanks go to redefined for the suggestion of Homestuck and the idea behind this round's themes.
→ All participants so far are accepted with their first claim - I've barely had online time due to rl being busy so haven't gotten arround editing/commenting on that post.

- Everyone can vote unless an icon of theirs is in the poll.
- Feel free to spread the word on these ties.
- The voting will end up sometime on this upcoming Sunday (midday or so Europe time). With the objective of me having enough time to post the winners before the end of the weekend.
- Round 16 is open for everyone to sign up. I apologize for I totally forgot I hadn't made the post. Due to work I shall not be able to post before the afternoon tomorrow plus with the late opening I'm leaving the sign up open until Saturday. & Thus this month also the closing day to submit your sets will be the 21st.
